As you may already be aware, TOPRA held their annual symposium in London this year from the 2^nd to the 4^th of October, it was a great success, bringing everyone from across the Regulatory Affairs industry together to network and discuss the latest hot topics.

There were many talks and panel discussions throughout the 3 days, covering several topics within Human and Veterinary Medicines as well as Medical Devices, with the whole event being topped off by the hot topic of Brexit.

This was Linkfield Life Sciences' first appearance at the Symposium and it did not disappoint, we were able to meet many interesting companies, ranging from small Biotech's working on ground breaking innovative medicines, through to the industries giants who you will know well. We also got to meet many interesting people who work within the industry right across Europe, such as our extremely happy iPad winner from Switzerland who is pictured in this article.

For those who aren’t aware, TOPRA are a professional membership organisation for individuals who work in healthcare regulatory affairs across Europe. Their mission is "to represent and promote the global healthcare regulatory profession; and to provide members with top-quality, relevant support with a European focus". The Symposium is held every year, with people throughout the industry attending in order to help ensure they are up to date with latest industry changes and opportunities, as well as having the opportunity to meet other likeminded companies and professionals within the industry.

All in all, it was a great 3 days and we look forward to attending the next TOPRA event and hopefully seeing you there.
